Vara Prasad Chandrabatla, Ph.D.

As an Associate Director at Veranova, I lead analytical R&D for product characterization, quality attribute assessments, and comparability evaluations. I apply my expert knowledge of cGMP regulations and ICH guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance and support inspection readiness activities. I also collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve analytical chemistry and quality issues efficiently. With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I have a strong background in analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, and method development/validation. I have led teams in developing and validating drug product methods for ophthalmic, injections, and lyophilization products, ensuring compliance with FDA, USP, and ICH guidelines. I have also developed LC-MS/MS bioanalytical assays for small molecules, peptides, and proteins, supporting ongoing projects. I hold a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from GITAM University and an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Andhra University.
