Christine S. Nervig, Ph.D. is a student in the lab of Dr. Shawn Owen at the University of Utah. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN in 2014 and her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry in the Owen Lab at the University of Utah in 2022. With an extensive background in organic chemistry and reaction methodology, her research in the Owen laboratory focused on the development and evaluation of antibody, protein, and peptide conjugates for the targeted delivery of small molecule therapeutics. Christine has received numerous awards including a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and a P.E.O. Scholar Award.
