Shana K. Cyr

Shana K. Cyr, Ph.D., J.D., is a partner in Finnegan’s Reston, Virginia office. She provides intellectual property counseling to innovative companies with biologic, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and combination products. She also represents clients in patent litigations before the U.S. district courts and post-grant proceedings before the USPTO. Shana previously served at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kimberly A. Moore, and at the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey as legal intern for the Honorable Noel L. Hillman. Shana obtained her J.D. with High Honors from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden, her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Virginia, and her B.S. in chemistry with biology and mathematics minors from the University of Richmond.
