Konto is President, Executive Director and CEO of Ichnos Glenmark Innovation (IGI), a global biotech accelerating novel anti-cancer therapies with its multispecifics™ Experienced physician-scientist with a demonstrated history of successful drug developments and regulatory approvals in Immuno-Oncology, Konto has contributed with scientists, protein engineers and manufacturers to the development of biotechnologies and cell and gene therapies. Previously at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pfizer and Allogene, Konto developed ipilimumab, nivolumab, elranatamab and an allogeneic CAR T platform among the most known technologies. Now, as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Ichnos Sciences, he is working to build the next generation of bi- and trispecifics out of Ichnos’ proprietary BEAT platform to help patients prevail over cancer with highly tailored and readily accessible molecules.
